End of Summer

So,

We had a busy fall.  Riding the horses in preparation for an Endurance ride next week and harvesting honey!  We are about 10 inches behind on rain this year, only having received about 2 inches since the end of July.  Everything is dry and brown which is very unusual for this part of the country.  Our pond is about 5 feet lower than normal and there is no significant precipitation predicted for the next 10 days.  Though, I did hear the meteorologist say that we might see some snow at the end of the week.  Which is why we're heading for Tennessee.  I figure that is is not cold enough for any snow to stick so it might as well be gone by the time we get back.  All calves are on the ground and healthy.  Roosters and turkeys are going to the processor soon.  Don't miss out on all of the new for sale items.
